Day 28 of the Wheels Up Tour: City #9 Tampa! ~ What Are Your Dragons?

Friday, February 28th, 2014

Dear Friends!

I’m heading to Tampa, Florida! City #9 on the Wheels Up Tour.

Tonight I’ll be speaking for The National Speaker’s Association Convention. I’m debuting my Dragon Slayer message! This is a message on slaying the inner Dragons that hold you back. The Dragon of Fear, Limiting Beliefs, Procrastination, Sabotage, Ambiguity, Doubt, all those Dragons that keep you from living your best life.

Where do these Dragons get created? Where did they come from?

I’ve created a 5 Step Process that goes right to the root cause of these Dragons and helps you slays them! That’s what I’ll be sharing on stage tonight at the NSA Convention.

I’ll share with you first how Dragons get created…

They are created by the view you have of yourself. They live in the thoughts you have about who you are and what you give yourself permission to do, be or have!

In other words, YOU created the Dragons.

They live in the view you have of yourself.

The good news is. YOU CAN CHANGE your Self-View!

You can change the view you have of yourself; and when you do, you will change your life!

I’ll share my 5 Step Process in my next post when I check into the hotel in Tampa. In the mean time, notice what your self-view is. Notice what you say about yourself, how you feel about your abilities and mostly, what you say about yourself when you don’t give yourself permission to be, do or have what you really want!

Until then, Wheels Up!

I’m in City #7 of the Wheels Up Tour ~ DAY 25: Slay the Dragon of Dependency

Tuesday, February 25th, 2014

Hello Friends!

It’s been glorious to be HOME, even if it’s just
for 40 hours! Visiting with great friends, running
on the beach every morning, and walking around
this cool city has been a blast. But now, it’s time
to go…

Being on this Wheels Up Tour is helping me slay
one of the most common Dragons. The Dragon of
dependency. Depending on other people, success,
and efforts to make me feel important. Waiting on
others to give me permission, show me what to do
and many other forms of dependency.

I am slaying that Dragon on this tour and learning
how to find my value, happiness and leading from
My Source. I call that Source, God or Higher Power.

I’m not attached to the names. I am just present to
the cool reality that this Force is right here, present
within me; not past successes or people’s opinions.

I’ll be presenting my “Dragon Slayer” message
at the National Speaker’s Association Event in
Tampa, Florida this Friday at 5pm. My message
will be one of the opening keynote presentation
for that convention! What a way to launch an
event. I don’t know of a more qualified person
to share the Dragon Slayer message than the
one who is LIVING THE MESSAGE ever day.
And, that would be me! ; ))

How are you doing with this?…

Have you slayed the Dragon of dependency?

I’ll be in Orlando for a LifeShotz event tomorrow
night. Then, I’m on to Tampa on February 28th
for that great event! The National Speaker’s

I’ll check in from there.  (Check out recent Pics and video at:

Wheels Up Tour City #5: Hilton Head, South Carolina

Friday, February 21st, 2014

Dear Friend;

I’m spending the day sharing LifeShotz at a Tennis Symposium here in Hilton Head with a few of my business partners. They are avid tennis players.

Well, actually, that’s an understatement…

Dennis Ralston is a NCAA champion who was the highest-ranked American player at the end of three consecutive years in the 1960s. His career-high ranked him #3 in the world.

Today, he travels with his wife Linda, sharing his story and expertise to help other tennis pros. They are also Brand Reps for our nutritional products in LifeShotz.

What impresses me the most about this man is his authenticity. Even with all that fame and career success, he is so grounded and, may I say, vulnerable as he shares his story of fame, losing his leg, being addicted to pain killers, and his amazing triumph over these challenges to be such an incredible role model to the tennis world and to mankind.

I spent most of the day with his wife, Linda. From my time with her and my understanding of who she was for her husband through all the fame and all the challenges, I am profoundly moved by this woman; and by the amazing power a wife (a great wife) has on her husband’s greatness. (Sure, it goes both ways and a husband can be that same strength for his wife.)

I guess what I’m present to is the influence and power we have with others. It’s another reason you want to BE GREAT! Cultivate your love, your loyalty. Work at being the best version of yourself. Spend time expanding who you are becoming. The people in your life need you to!

How ya doing with that?

I’m saying good bye to Hilton Head and driving to Savannah to visit my son at college in Savannah! I’ll check in with ya from there.

Wheels Up Tour! DAY 16: Home Sweet Home!

Sunday, February 16th, 2014

Dear Friend;

There’s no place like home…

As a Glorified Gypsy, my home is where ever I am at the time. At least for the next 6 months, it’s imperative that I feel at home in whatever hotel or team member’s home I am in.

However, for the next 2 days, I am in my childhood home in Paradise, California. I was 9 years old when we moved into this house. Many memories and traditions were created right here. One of those traditions is Sunday Waffles. Every Sunday morning the waffle iron comes out and homemade buttermilk waffles are devoured by everyone in the Kelly family. It’s funny that this tradition continues even after all the kids are grown up and on their own.

My own kids and I have our family traditions; and even though Mark and I are not married anymore, these traditions are still celebrated. Family traditions do not need a marriage to sustain them!

How are you doing with that?
