Sometimes I make life “too hard”.

Do you ever do that? Attract drama. Create confusion. Hide from your power. Act small to fit in…

I’ve had a picture of a red-hot sports car pasted to my door for over a year. But when my lease was up and I walked into the dealership I began to doubt if they would give me a new deal.

The voices of doubt came in. The lack of clarity took over.

As I filled out the paperwork for the red-hot sports car, I told myself I probably wouldn’t get a ‘good deal’ and I really should just get a ‘more affordable’ car to have more money for my kid’s college tuition…

And sure enough; I got what I expected.

The dealership said they didn’t have the car I wanted and my credit wasn’t high enough anymore to get the car at the price I wanted.

I actually believe in my own lie of lack and limitation…

Then, I read a journal entry that I had written to myself over a year ago. It read: “It’s ALL here right NOW Lisa! There is nothing to chase or push for. ALL your success exists here and now. God DELIGHTS in richly blessing you, Lisa! You just need to ‘allow’ Him to and RECEIVE it!”

I woke up the next morning called the dealership to get a list of all the paperwork I needed to GET MY CAR and at the price I wanted!

I got all the paperwork they asked for, drove to the dealership, told them what car I wanted and what price I would pay for it and that I was going to drive it home today!

They looked over all my paperwork, made some phone calls and within an hour, I was driving my gorgeous candy-apple red sports car home! And the payment was exactly what I said I wanted!

We really do get what we want… what we will ALLOW God to bless us with! It begins with YOUR belief that God DELIGHTS in blessing you, providing for you, surprising you! And then allow Him to do just that for you!
